Hi! Ive only done Nerubar Palace once as Outlaw, did about a 70 parse and it was very clear where I messed up. Came back to Outlaw this season.
According to this log from Manaforge I am one of the worst outlaws to enter the raid. Trying to review my timeline, but I can't seem to make sense of it. Would anyone be so kind to have a quick look?
well, you are super screwed by having no tier
old tier or new tier
Outlaw with just raw gear is kind of dog ass
and your highest stat is mastery
anyway, so the opener
because of fatebound coins and loaded dice, you should open directly with AR + GS + RTB
like when combat begins, not prepull
so, about roll the bones
because of the Supercharger talent, you should roll over any 1 buff
and also when loaded dice is active, you should roll over any 2 buffs
i cant really tell that you are following this
your first keep it rolling was used at 2 buffs? i think
this is a rather major error
you're supposed to wait for 4 buffs to use KIR, though 3 buffs is technically okay
like, you open with AR RTB to get 2 buffs, and then you wait for 2 extra buff procs, for 4 total
and then you KIR
you also didn't use roll the bones after KIR
this is kind of a whole thing, but you are basically supposed to reroll again after KIR

also btw on this first boss
at the intermission
you can Cloak and grapple directly to the end
and lose 3 seconds of uptime
might need to pot/healthstone to stay alive
i believe you had 2 vanish casts where adrenaline rush isnt active
this is major, you have to vanish during AR only
otherwise you wont be able to maintain AR when it is back up
basically losing AR a lot is the best indicator of errors
could be this

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out for me.
So I need to:
- Stop using AR-RTB pre pull. Use it on pull for coin.
- Roll over any 1 buff, and any 2 buff with loaded dice
- Roll directly after KIR rather than the old waiting for the timer rules
- Not use vanish charges outside of AR

it's basically impossible to follow logs and see if you are doing it
so you could be idk
with 2 points in fan the hammer, you send pistol shots at 3cps or lower, but if broadside is active then you only send at 1cp, unless at max stacks
this is rather easy to mess up with broadside, like if you finish and end up at 2cp, it's easy to mistakenly press ps
No probably not, I had no idea there were these many rules for pistol shot. I should have read the FAQ more thoroughly
it is most of an optimization instead of a major dps thing
but everything adds up with outlaw you know
Could there be something to look at with skillsequence, because based on my view of the timeline it looks like I am sending dispatches left and right between my sinister strikes, but I am playing Weak Aura minigame all fight so i dont really feel like its that bad
These dispatches are automatically casted by crackshot talent
I watched a vid on how to spot sequence errors in my logs but I cant see it. I also made a bunch of stopsequence macros just to be sure

But according to logs I did 2SS into a BTE there I guess
Yeah I guess I could be at enough CP to warrant the BTE
And killing spree is just a send, prio over vanish with trickster and same goes for coup

as trickster you try not to vanish if killing spree is up soon
but sometimes you still have to vanish if you are about to cap charges or AR is about to expire
So does that mean my second spender can just be killing spree? After 1 bte?
