#Damage Done - Mug'Zee, Heads of Security...

@bright lantern gonna tag you in here as well, I have a bit of time before raid
so first things first opener wise getting an envenom before deathmark is important to start the kingsbane ramp
the earlier you can ramp kingsbane, the better
here you go straight into it, and then envenom during the deathmark
which is just wasting a gcd and hurting your damage
you want to flip the shiv and the envenom in this case
making better use of the gcds during shiv (deathmark is a dead gcd for shiv)
and you would still get that envenom off
The 2nd shiv is also late?
the 2nd shiv is on time, if the opener were correct
but yeh, need those shivs to cover the entire kingsbane
having to velf out of the cage here is pretty aids
but it is what it is
That's around the time where the gooners spawn.
yah
If he gets the ice shit he does lose a couple of seconds.
shouldn't really be an issue with the ice boots
the issue is mostly the cage
but can't really hold for that
I mean for optimal pad you want to hold your KB slightly for the gooners to spawn.
If you place the prisons close enough you can aoe both of them with caustic.
2min cds are also scuffed as shit
should just be a repeat of the opener
I think realistically just need to get the cd sequence correct and not have so much downtime
I did notice the 2 mins thing when doing log compare to another rogue with identical setup - the opener was fairly even despite it being wrong but every cd window after that was pure gappage
yeh, the sequence just needs to be envenom -> dm -> shiv -> kingsbane
after that it's just regular rotation
Is he dry shiving?
@bright lantern are you fucking dry shiving?
it looks like it but I'm checking if he's dry shiv'ing correctly
Also thanks for taking the time to check both, appreciate it a lot
ma feeble mind can't comprehend this spec
I mean its not the end of the world if you dont dry shiv but you do less overall damage.
yeh dry shivs look good
the one thing I do notice that looks weird
is that basically every finisher is on 7 or 6
which like isn't inherently wrong
So looking between 0:00 and 4:00 seems that most of the issues are keep gcd rolling and press buttons, fix the opener, replicate that across 2 mins onwards rather than do something different and should see an improvement?
the combo point waste is a bit high but not crazy
so it's kinda hard to tell
but you finish on 5 outside of darkest night
and legit there's like 2 finishers on 5 in the entire fight
which is whack
I mean these are overall pretty minor issues
have just been following the max-1 CP
there's nothing super out of place
that's not a thing
wasnt it like 7-1 or 5-1 before i know that i have read that in here a while a go
it's 7 for darkest night, 5 otherwise
You use finishers at 5+ cp's other than during DN
I'll leave him with you guys since he says that is helpful, but I don't have a feckin clue what you're on about, thank you so much both - really appreciate your knowledge!! ❤️
realistically if you just look at how the graphs overlap
you're just getting gapped on 2 min cds
some downtime at 1:45
and then at 3min uhhhhhhh
yeah at 3min the other rogue had a double shiv
so they didn't dry shiv
and then got a big 3min cd window
the other thing is what the hell is this tea
it was an auto tea i think
loud incorrect buzzer
idk how i can cast rupture into rupture
I mean with spikes you can
if it was auto tea it wouldn't show up on the cast timeline
are you not using the tea macro
I'm not even sure why i'm trying to help, my own damn logs looks like a pride flag. I'm in no position to give anyone advice lmao
i see i have some stuff i can fix and ez do better
I mean practice makes perfect, but just starting to use finishers at 5+ cp instead of 6+ is a big jump ;s
