I don't have much experience looking at logs but I don't think you did bad at all. You're still progging on gear and just on gear, you'd get another ten points.

thanks, yea i just know i can get alot more out of toon. im use to more 80/90 parse over the years playing outlaw/sin... first time im really giving sub a chance and man its just not clicking towards the end of the fight when the CDs are all on different timers.

What I do is I sim it then I go to a training dummy and see how close I can get it to the sim. I get to about 92% of theoretical perfection. What do you get? 5 mins, ST

yea ill have to do that, i just wish you could see how many charges and CD time left when the sim uses the Cd in the second burst window

Inside of your first shadow dance, your first finisher should be sectec

#

Your first finisher in this case is eviscerate

#

Your shadowblades should be used in tandem with this first sectec

#

You can refer to the wowhead opener for this advice

#

If we refer to use symbols of death timing

#

You should be casting symbols inside of pandemic whcih is around 3 seconds

#

The timing between symbols cast is 7 seconds, which means that you are in pandemic correctly

#

Cold Blood as well can be moved to the second secret technique

#

This is because you gain flawless form stacks and flagellation is stronger at that point in time

#

Your second flag

#

Same issue as your first flag, you hit shadowstrike eviscerate instead of shadowstrike sec tec

#

Also I'm doing this review while I'm at work in case you're checking slowly LOL

#

You always want your secret technique to be supercharged, which means you need to be hitting symbols sech tech

#

Heres an example in the second dance window of this not occuring

#

Heres a usage of symbols for rupture then coup de grac

#

If you're using shadow dance, you're using symbols, if you're using symbols, you're using sec tech

#

If you're using just symbols, you're hitting sec tec

#

Sec tech then symbols

#

Heres another usage like that

#

Symbols, rupture coup

#

Heres symbols way past shadow dance

#

This is a SD with symbols as well

#

Overall, I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding where damage inside Sub comes from

#

Its all in those shadow dances and Secret Techniques

#

I recommend this guide if you want a visual representation of whats going on in Sub

#

I myself, am not an amazing sub player and am learning myself, but these are some base line rules that you should pick up

#

Secret technique should always be supercharged with symbols

#

And you should be walking into every single flagellation window with two shadow dances and symbols and secret technique

#

The timing for that in a raid environment generally speaking is

#

You'll get two shadow dances in between yoour first and second flag, and 1 after that

#

After that it'll repeat itself

Thank you I will check it out as soon as I’m home

#

Yea I think I’m sending to many shadow dances inbetween and it’s messing all my timings up, they I just push things as they come ups thanks for the advice

#

I just never know when to hold secret/dance/symbols when I’m waiting for flag/sb to come off cd

#

Your damage is entirely concentrated within that flagellation window

#

To fully show you exactly how serious that statement is

#

During the peaks, are flag windows

#

In between those peaks, is literally around 600k dps at most
