some quick stuff that I saw, NEVER send sectech without SoD up

Newer Rogue, about 3-4 resets, first time sub. I practiced the opener on a dummy for a bit before raid, but doing it during raid is a different beast it feels when trying to also react to everything

SoD is Symbols of Death

#

try and SoD and dance together if you can

#

BUT make sure you have 2 dances and 2 symbols ready for every flag at 90s

#

this generally turns into 2 dances/2 SoD during flag, 1 dance/sod when sectech comes up (3rd sectech) and then if you dance CDR is good enough, you send a dance symbols for your 4th sectech

#

BUT if you won't have 2 charges of dance ready for flag at 90s, you ONLY send the SoD, don't dance

#

it's almost always better to air on the safe side and just overcap on dance charges to amek sure your flag window is good

And thats cause I have 3 charges of SOD max compared to 2 of Dance right

for a cojuple of reasons, but yeah that's part of it

mostly because your dance CDR is a lot lower than SoD

#

so you can SoD a lot more often in a fight since it has a 25s CD compared to dance's 60 with CDR attached

Ok so better line up of SoD/Dances, with 2 charges ready at flagg/SB window

I know a few times I slammed them when they came up out of bad habit from world content

You can have one of each if your SoD cd is <10sec, and 2nd dance cd is <30/40sec and still fit 2x SoD and 2x dance in flag window

Cause of the cdr during first dance right?

Your SoD duration will be over 10seconds and with Inevitability it'll extend with plenty of time to make sure your second charge cooldown is done before your first charge buff runs out

#

and the CDR from shadow blades giving full cp's each builder will allow the second charge to come off cooldown when you're ready to send the second

#

SoD also procs Supercharger which gives additional cooldown reduction to Dance/Sectech due to the additional combo point consumption

Big rules of thumb are to: Center SoD/Dance around Sechtech cooldown, Sectech with Supercharger as the first finisher in dance

I see yeah, that doesnt do much cause I can just renew it during downtime

Exactly, your downtime between dances and especially between flag/blades windows is prime time to refresh it, especially if you think it'll run out and need to be refreshed during big cooldown windows

#

It's a net benefit to refresh before it hits pandemic window if that's the case

#

because combo points spent on anything other than sectech or eviscerate during cooldowns is a big loss

if you refresh a damage over time effect with 30% or less of its remaining duration, that will get added to the next cast
