Hey guys, anyone willing to give a quick look at one log report to help me understand if my rotation is completely off? I'm severly undergeared (no tier set yet, 452 ilvl), but I feel I'm super focus on all my buttons to ensure a correct rotation and yet raidbot sims me at 125k dps while I can't top 50k on a dummy. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/hHkgWfLQ43CaRBjm#fight=3 (I am Musketarr).

One thing is know is I don't necessarly track my Roll the Bones reroll correctly. Wondering if this could cause such a spread vs the actual target dps

You only used vanish 3 times during the whole dungeon

#

The spec currently revolves around getting as many crackshot windows as possible and churning out as many BTE casts as possible during those windows

#

You create those windows with vanish and shadow dance

Don't forget restealth between packs when you can.

Interesting, I saw vanish as a pure defensive ability but it does makes sense

Vanish has higher prio since it is affected by restless blades. So if both are available you use vanish first for 6 seconds of subterfuge, then shadow dance once those 6 seconds run out

Both vanish and shadow dance should be used when you have 6+ cp so you can start your crackshot window with a BTE

Yeah restealths also give you free crackshot windows

So for an opener you get 6 sec subterfuge from stealth, then 6 sec from vanish, then 6 sec from dance and then you often have vanish back again shortly after that

Try to practice that sequence on dummies a bit and make sure you don't put bte on cd by accident at the end of each window

Do you know what spell triggers this "Crackshot" status ?

Subterfuge and shadow dance

#

Subterfuge you gain after leaving stealth so it is triggered by normal stealth and vanish

#

If you type !wa in outlaw channel there is a nice wa for tracking the crackshot window and play a warning sound at the last gcd

#

So you don't hit bte when the window is over, because of you do it goes on cd

#

You should never press vanish or shadow dance if bte is on cd

Ah so you never use BTE outside crackshot?

You can use bte outside of crackshot but only if vanish cd is>45 sec and shadow dance cd>15 sec

#

Otherwise it will delay a crackshot window
