biggest lesson i learned at some point is how important it is to understand items and not always playing the same build. understanding how the enemy can kill you, and then being prepared for that with your items, will make the game more enjoyable and also give you more wins

personally i really like playing blink dagger on ranged carries for example, because positioning is so important on those heroes, and being able to stay back a bit further before a fight, and then blink into a position that lets you hit enemies safely, is just very good
