your general rotation looks pretty okay tbh, your biggest improvement would be make sure you're using gloomblade instead of ss as the first global in each dance
currently you're opening with ss which wastes both the premeditation and the first dance passives
if you use gloomblade first you'll 1. get a danse macabre stack and 2. have premeditation to guarantee high cp for sectec
you should also make sure you cast flagellation as your first global after SS in the opener, before rupture
you can use tea a bit earlier in the opener dance to cover the eviscerates aswell as sectec
you're also using symbols a bit late, dropping the buff at the end of your first dance window, you can do the !dance command in the sub channel to see the rules with the new tier set
in the raid build with the first dances your dances will almost always look like dance->gloomblade->evis->ss->sectec->(vanish if available to proc premed and extra damage, especially if you have flag)->evis
try to work on those issues then come back if you still feel like you're underperforming, but I think if you do what i wrote and follow the rules from !symbols and !tea you should be good to go

Thanks a lot for the info. I have a macro for ss/gloom is probably why that's a thing (I do have a separate keybind for gloom though for DM stacks) will just adjust my rotation to use gloom first. Really appreciate it.

You can use the macro that turns shadow dance into gloomblade so you can double click that bind

usually yes you send at 5 but if cold blood is off cd and you dont have vanish you can build to 7 i think
