im Yo the rogue
the other rogue is domenating me even tho his rotation is kinda off but still
specially on terrors
why are you storming for every single dance
the dance rotation is the most basic thing in the FAQ and you seem to have really misunderstood the sstorm optimisation
your dance rotation is incorrect every single dance
also a big thing i notice is that for about 20secs on Terros you arent really doing dps which can kill it
Also you didn't press tea until 1 min in to the fight, use it on the opener same with vanish
It is quite funny you shit on the other rogue for having bad rotation when yours is functionally worse in every way
in fact, his rotation in dance was perfect every single time - except for one where he ruptured in dance
@heady crystal bro chill about it. this is learning
He also played around finality rupture
afaik you only want to storm first gcd of dance on pull to guarantee fw being up during the opener, for all the other dances you should use gloomblade as the first gcd of dance
Exactly that
first of all ty for ur time and effort , i rerolled to rogue like 6 weeks ago and i think i devolped a bad happits
2nd of all i did read this and that what made me use storm on ST
Shuriken Storm: It is perfectly fine to use Shuriken storm instead of Gloomblade after Shadowstrike in the opener to guarantee Find Weakness application.
key word in there being in the opener
The only time you'd use it otherwise is if you enter dance with no Find Weakness active
i didint sh1t on him if i knew everything i wouldnt ask here , trying to learn
thats what im trying to do , to use storm with every dance to make sure i have FW in every dance , is that wrong? also inside dance to i spend 4cp? or gloom or storm to get more cps?
that is wrong yes
inside dance is 5CP and above
the (gloomblade) in the no tfd rotation is if you hit 4-5CP only
if you hit 6CP or more from the Shadowstrike after Evis you would Sectech
If you compare casts over the time until your death
since that's a more fair comparison
you're definitely not spamming GB enough
you also had 4 more rupture casts but less rupture damage
which says the other rogue is using rupture way more effectively
not spamming GB outside of dance is quite a loss especially cos of lingering shadows
compared to my own log in the same timeframe too
a lot less GB
tea is really good for providing that extra energy you need outside of dance to continue spamming
you started off fine pressing symbols on cd but as the fight progressed it for further and further apart
because of the rotational errors, it's very rare you hit 7CP finishers too
whereas because the other rogue is doing it correctly he is
This is your CP
so you're basically not building enough outside dance
and spending too early outside dance (6+ is correct)
There are times here you spent on 3-4CP which should never ever happen
This here is A LOT of cdr gone and missed globals
my dances are blue yours are red
you can see how you gradually fall further and further behind
thats very clear tysm m8 , so in general my mistakes in ST are 1/ i need to spam more GB outside of dance 2/i need to not use storm on every dance and otherwise if target has FW i should GB as first gcd 3/ i need to keep using cds on cd ( SD and SoD ) 4/ when it comes to rapturing , do i rapture after first shadowstrike and then rapture at end of every dance for the finality buff? or whats the right way to manage my raptures?
very clear tysm mate
will take every note in mind and ill improve myself , tysm for all of ur time and efforts
just always be pressing buttons
should never be gaps unless you have zero energy and no tea charges
or you're forced out of range of the boss
btw 1 last thing , do we goomblade as 1st shadowdance gcd if we dont have the first dance talented? or is that not necessary? also if i used storm to apply FW and had like 2-3Cp do i shadowstrike then evis?
usually you have FW up from spamming gb
1-3CP you SS to enter dance
4-5CP you GB to enter dance
6-7 you can Evis as first global in dance
