2 biggest things i notice right away is odd trinket choices and low ghostly strike uptime
you can see GS uptime now?
no but at 3.9 cpm its not gonna be more than 70%
fair
-
buzzing rune and glacial fury are both inferior to primal whetstones and tepid pot
-
not using vanish much. it should be used as soon as you have no audacity and have 3 or less fan the hammer stacks
-
should not ever use finishers at 5cp, being at 5cp you should use the highest priority builder, no different than being at 1-4cp
-
during vanish or dance they are just spamming ambush 7 times in a row. you should still follow the finisher rule during dance/subterfuge
-
they are not maintaining the between the eyes debuff on the target. if they continue to use the greenskins talent (this is an outdated talent, see FAQ builds), then they should use BtE on cooldown at the right cp. otherwise, just maintain the debuff.
-
frequently letting roll the bones expire and not following the reroll rules, which means there are certain times you are supposed to recast RTB to try and roll different buffs. for example they sat a GM + BT on pull which should have been rolled away.
i do feel like they are trying to be on top of ghostly strike uptime but the egregious rotation errors means the average cooldown is much higher than normal
alright thats all amazing. It looks to me like his opener is also wrong compared to what i can see in the FAQ's ?
sure, ghostly strike should not be the first global from stealth, and RTB can be used before the pull begins
it is hard to type an opener because of our reactive gameplay. it tends to look like (ADR + RTB in stealth) > Ambush > (Ambush again if no proc) > BtE > Ambush > ...
from there you either use a finisher (slice and dice if needed or dispatch) or ghostly strike based on CP from the previous ambush cast
this also reminded me I forgot to change my terros talents :P
if in aoe then blade flurry is the first global from stealth
potentially blade rush is the 2nd global if >8 targets
But anyway your opener is following the same priority as you have the rest of the encounter
they do need to react to procs better as they sometimes press sinister strike while audacity or fan the hammer are active
you should never press sinister strike unless you have no audacity, no fan the hammer, no vanish, no dance
also they really should have a flaring cowl if they have the ring equipped
i currently dont see a way for them to proc it
Lastly i think they are just mostly slamming shadow dance on cooldown when it has a specific use case
You use dance if you have no audacity and no fan the hammer, and it is lower priority than vanish
some cases you may sit on dance a while cause you keep getting lucky with audacity/fth procs, just how it is
