if no one gets to this first ill go over it when i get up
Much appreciated
This one was a bit scuffed with pulls and such, but a bit better by the end https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/jaQTcpHxDZRC61tb#fight=56&type=damage-done
ok first things first, a very common mistake people make is using dance and vanish too conservative vanish in particular. You can basically just slam it whenever you are below 6 stacks of fth and dont have audacity running so sometimes you can even press it within the first 10 seconds of a pull and already get it on cd, restless blades is very good for vanish so we want to get it on cd asap if the conditions are met.
You want to use vanish at the very latest when you dont have any fth procs at all
you should have used vanish quite a lot earlier here since you were already out of procs and using ss, the very first thing you do when you are out of procs is check if you have dance or vanish up since those 2 are used to kickstart you again
same thing here, you had vanish on cd from the pervious pull since it was used so late but had dance ready but didnt press it
if you read the thing with br just cross that, log decided to only show the ones towards the end
all good on the usage
gotta be careful with using cheap shot since its gonna bring you out of stealth and start your subterfuge window just keep that in mind since worst case you end up losing a cast of ambush bc of that
sth like this is probably the result of button mashing, one or max 2 ambushes are all you need for max cp
couple of instances of pressing ss when you already have fth stacks which is sth you want to avoid as much as possible (a lot of them are around the 8 minute mark right after first boss)
other than that not too much strikes the eye, but as always m+ is way different from reading raid logs since dps will vary quite a lot depending on pull size and a tank that pulls big or chains will always result in a bigger overall on your end
TLDR
-
more aggressive vanish usage, vanishing more is gonna result in the loop going for a lot longer as long as you make sure its not wasted i.e using it when the pull is about to die in a few seconds.
-
make sure you are using your procs before using ss, ss is a last resort builder when the loop is dead and you dont have any way to get it going again.
-
finishers seem to be largely fine but a few early finishers here and there, always finish at 6+ if you land on 5 you are gonna use either one of your procs or one ss and then finish (wasnt mentioned above bc im a
) -
since you swapped to cto and away from gsw for that cos, ill just mention that your bte usage is changing a bit. you are only gonna press it to keep up the debuff instead of for the gsw which is gonna result in having it up for new packs/target swaps more often
3 and 4 are things i found while writing so i put em in there
Oh man, lots to look through
nah ur doing fine
just take ur time to look over the faq again if you feel like you dont understand sth or if you have any questions idm answering them
Yeah right after the first boss we accidentally pulled the pack near obby and the construct so that was just panic
Isn't it 3 stacks making a total 6 shots? Just want to be sure I've got my WA set properly. I do have to change up my bte usage, I did adjust that WA slightly
Gonna download OBS tonight I think
Possibly running a 20av
3 stacks of fth = 3ps iirc so 6 stacks = 6 ps but you can only use 3 with one use if that makes sense
so you can either have 0 stacks, 3 stacks or 6stacks unless you are doing some weird thing where you flick away and it only shoots one of the procs
I accidentally do that when killing mobs. But that makes sense. I definitely use it whenever I have 3 stacks. Also havent really paid attention to stacks until last night
yeah vanish is insane to keep the loop going with subt since its so low cd thx to restless
Feel like I did solid on this one
You dont necessarily have to review it, but it is there lol
Had a few spots where I knew I messed up. Definitely trolled with AR a few times on groups of mobs with like 1.2m hp left
knowing where you scuffed something is a big part of improvement since you know what to look out for
