looking at this pull
well first, i should say there is little concept of 'doing well in aoe but bad in st' when they are the same rotation. in aoe you are maintaining blade flurry every 12 seconds and have slightly different blade rush rules and that's it.
to be blunt, the idea of doing well in aoe but bad in st is just because outlaw is tuned well for aoe, so as long as you are maintaining blade flurry it is easy for your meters to give you the illusion that you are doing well compared to other classes

so is there something in my rotation that im missing then?
yes, now these logs were almost 3 weeks ago so i'm sure you are not playing identically but
you're not using vanish at all, which is >5% dps right there
you should vanish into ambush at any point audacity isnt active and you have 3 or less fan the hammer stacks
similarly, you are sitting on shadow dance a lot
dance is used at any pointy audacity isnt active and you have 0 fan the hammer stacks
at the start of this pull, you used sinister strikes because you had no procs, but vanish or dance are off cooldown
this build would only ever use sinister strike when you have no audacity, no fan the hammer, no vanish, no dance
also, that arrow is pointing at a singular pistol shot
Yeah okay, that makes sense, i find Sin strike sometimes draining energy which would make sense when i have dance and vanish still up.
this happened because casting between the eyes caused pistol shot to glow on your bars
and then you press it
this glow is because of greenskins
but it may be tricking you into thinking fan the hammer is active, when it's not
yeah okay, so i would need a WA to track FTH stacks to stay on top of that
despite this greenskins glow, pistol shot should only be used with FTH
roll the bones should have permanent uptime
in this pull, it fell off for a long time
going back to this point, there are a lot of times you are pressing sinister strike while FTH is already active
this build should consume FTH immediately as long as audacity isnt active and you are below 6 combo points
FTH is really important to keep proccing audacity
there are also lots of times you are spending combo points at 5cp, 4cp or below
this build should only over consume combo points at 6cp or 7cp
sometimes you may find yourself at 4 or 5cp with FTH active, it is still best to just consume FTH right there
your between the eyes casts feels low, but it may just be a result of the rotation errors
between the eyes should be used on cooldown, at the right combo points of course
i think that's about everything that sticks out to me rotationally
Yeah okay that makes more sense, what about slice and dice? i know im supposed to use it, should it be used on my first 6cp or 7cp draw?
it should be your 2nd finisher after between the eyes, and then you only recast it if it has under 14s remaining
the last thing i should say, which is hard to detect from logs
it is possible to do all these things correctly but too slow
or have poor positioning or poor reflexes for dealing with mechanics while still having as much uptime as you can
i cant detect these things, so it's something to be aware of
outlaw has a high APM requirement, especially as adrenaline rush lowers your global cooldown to 0.8s

your APM looks fairly good considering the mistakes
at least on Terros where nothing is happening and you just get to stand there

what have you done
