Our mythic Eranog/Council kills and Terros progress. I know Council isn't a good fight for us but hoping to understand how to contribute more on that fight. Similarly Eranog/Terros not sure where I'm going wrong and Terros seems I feel like I'm very inconsistent
I'll go through the write up with the new one then and I'll put in anything I noticed that carried over from the last one
also @willow sun if you have any thoughts
Yep, getting to work and then I’ll look at it
Combo Point waste is minimal, but ideally try to get mutilate CP waste a bit lower (but 6cp is kinda whatever tbh). Bleed uptimes need some love, ideally you get garrote and rupture a bit higher ideally 97%+ (but usually anything above 90% is okay).
In your opener you want to get bonespike in before your rupture, so Garrote > SnD > Garrote > SBS > Rupture and then start your opener sequence
also few things I did notice:
- Be a bit more aggressive with your bonespikes especially on a fight like terros. There's no need to hold charges for anything on that fight so just dump them as often as possible
- Use tea in the opener even if its a waste, just get it on CD and get a nice mastery bonus during DM
- You wanna be DMing immediately after grieftorch, don't refresh bleeds beforehand
rotationally, the rest of it looks fine tbh
you're playing KB and banking your shivs for KB which is good
if you want to really really minmax, you can honestly try to fit a shiv in between KB casts but it's easier to just bank them
also besides this moment:
rotationally you're doing fine
I’m also not a huge fan of the build choice - https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/sdmzCgF7qbZQUTodepp5Ff
500 dps isn’t much but IMO it’s much more simple to manage this fight
Thanks so much for the write up guys. Yeah, I def feel like I've been struggling with the opener since switching to the KB build and getting the sequence right. Missing SBS often in the opener. "You wanna be DMing immediately after grieftorch, don't refresh bleeds beforehand" I think maybe I misunderstood the opener entirely then, I've been trying to gar - snd - gar - sbs (if I don't fuck it up) - rupt - ER - grief - empowered rupture - vanish - gar - DM - KB. Should I be skipping the empowered rupture and vanish gar before the DM entirely? I'll work on my tea usage as well, the KB build feels like it lacks more energy than the DTB build so I wasn't being as aggressive with my tea usage early on but I can def hit it more early on.
you'd use vanish to refresh the imp garrote during DM
as for the rupture, it's kinda whatever because all ER does is give it giga duration
so unless you're playing exsang
you can kinda just slap it wherever
during dm, ok, that's what I was doing with the DTB build, the little opener graphic in the faq (the 1st one) is what I've been trying to do instead of the 2nd one which uses vanish/gar after dm. it's part of what I've found so fumbly about the kb opener
ok, I think not worrying about the ER rupture since no exang and moving the vanish/gar after dm will def help smooth the opener back out. I'll try and get my bleed uptimes up, the only gar I've been actively not refreshing is the empowered ones but the other fall offs are just bad play that I'll work on fixing
and thanks MakeitQuake, I ran the pastebin from whispyrs sheet and the build I'm using was 2nd after the one you linked and I chose not to run the exang one and just eat the 500 dps loss to skip exang lol
