not sure which one is easier to analyze :D
only been playing sub for a big week so im wondering which major mistakes im making
so first thing is this is entirely wrong
Recommend looking at the opener in #subtlety-faq
You lost a considerable amount of damage essentially every Shadow Dance.
Your first Thistle Tea came 52 seconds into the fight, meaning you wasted 52 seconds of Tea cooling down for no tangible gain.
You also had pretty low Shadow Dance and SecTech cast counts for the fight time
You are probably pressing Slice and Dice too much. Remember that Premeditation gives you +10s of duration.
And your SecTech count should also match your SD count because they remain synced
I think you should just give the FAQ a solid reading 1-2 times over then come back to ask in general questions.
The thing with sdance/sectec is, I dont understand yet when I should wait with sdance/sectech and when I shouldnt
for example: if my SoD is 10 more secs on cd, should I wait or is it not worth? or should I wait if my rupture/snd is 5sec remaining?
Opener is definitely something I should improve on ^^
Also, this.
If Rupture is <5s, you should quickly re-apply it before going into Dance. Pressing Rupture in Dance is a considerable DPS loss.
6% increase damage to a single Evis and single ST is not more damage than an entire Eviscerate.
^
When it comes to Danse stacks, completely turn your brain off. It is not worth thinking.
We optimize for damage, not for stacks.
Like I said, the best course for you is to thoroughly read the FAQ. The # of mistakes you made in that log is too large to really go over in fine detail. You don't have the real basics down, so go to a dummy and slam it for 1-2 hours to get the rotation learned first.
You can ask if you have any questions as well.
