Bought loads of mats on my moneychar, put them in the warbank, logged my crafter, check warbank shit is gone. Not like in a separate tab kinda gone, just straight up gone-gone. Yeah, there's a weird delay. Sometimes the item icon doesn't load and I have to 'nudge' it by putting another item where it should be. I love the Warbank but it's another system that needs more polish.

We can can Sap the bird that swoops down on 1 & 2 and loot the bush for the Offering. Then we can fish from 3 for half of them done solo. The rest of the group proceeds along the green path and you grab the barrels (4 & 5) and fish up 6 and you're ready to fight Hoardmonger

How do i figure out, what spec to play in raid? I’m completely new to rogue and first time I’m playing an only dps class. I’ve always either tanked or healed and now going to play dps. All rogue specs seem fun to me.

for raiding, outlaw is the only spec that might be in an dissadvantage because it requires high uptime and can't utialize burst phases well or burn down adds

Yeah Subtlety you get a CD for everything.

I'd also recommend using Subterfuge for leveling, TBH. Feels really good imo. Eliminates some of the times where you have to kill one thing and SecTec / dance is down.

frankly IDK what exact moment that changed, but basically at any point before MoP, Rogue was excellent at levelling (as long as you played Combat)

you got so much good shit it's insane, huge dodge (like 30% at some levels), huge parry (10% baseline at least), riposte, evasion, sprint, eventually vanish, you can stun mobs for like 10 seconds in a row

I think the thing is they started designing mobs so they could be avoided, started making rogue utility matter less and less through tuning, and then also have other classes comparable or greater utility.

but yeah basically Rogue was king of levelling when avoiding enemies mattered, when resources were scarce and abilities were somewhat clunky, when locks existed in the open world, when pickpocket money was a decent chunk of change

by Cata, all of that basically died, and Rogue was never really compensated for any of that IMO, like for a long while they're just a numbers class with no big distinctive features anymore
Energy is also stuck in that vanilla/TBC design where it was favourable against mana bars unavoidably going down over time, but mana hasn't been that for non-healers since...at least MoP, I think

Rogue was quite good in tbc/vanilla, not the best but good. It remained at that same state as other classes flew ahead of it in wotlk. Like pallies, warlocks, hunters, shamans etc could all pull like 5 mobs at once and survive. We didnt have any aoe outside of blade flurry which was only 2 target cleave, and we had no heals, so we had to eat a lot

hey guys, i have kind of gotten tired of doing no damage and want a breath of fresh air, how does rogue fair in things like delves and overworld without a tank spec? I don't quite raid or do m+ much most ill do is a 10 man normal raid with a group of friends, so things like world quests, rares, and delves mean a lot to me

i am interested in the aesthetic outlaw looks cool, and ive seen SOME gameplay stuff with the rotations.

main important questions i have are

  1. how do all the specs feel in delves especially for tier 8 and above
  2. open world questing and rares and especially now with the newly introduced prey system
  3. how do the specs fair in terms of survivability?
  4. do any of the specs feel completely horrible with bad gear? I have grown a liking to dev atm, and my main class is fury, due to the disgusting shortage of haste gear in preseason and bad luck in m0 i find myself struggling to perform with such low haste
