The initial guide usually takes about ~10-15 hours making sure I get the information I need, math, etc. Then I update it continuously until season start, sometimes 10 minute updates, sometimes much longer

It's a lot of trial and error, especially with no official blue posts about anything

I could be totally wrong about a lot of things because blizzard hasn't clarified stuff

Yeah, the reason I wanted the lua error is because CDM has a habit of giving out obscure lua errors as well, if it was elvui it would be fairly obviously listed in a path in the lua error. But you can try your luck over at the elvui discord to make sure Im not a numpty.

Yeah. It's critical if you pug to be at or above the curve early on. Falling behind isn't the be-all-end-all but it will make life a lot more frustrating. 3k in the first few weeks and you are comfy for weeklies.

This is also very true with raid pugging. Not just getting kills but REPEAT kills is so important for ease of raid pugging.

I'm the Puglord. it's fine, honestly? Just go into it with the right expectations. Mythic raid pugging is all about finding a group with consistency and bailing early on bad groups. But for Heroic you can be more relaxed.

Just don't get toxic, or aggresive. Just walk out if it's a bad group with a passenger princess leader.

The best thing to do is to also form your own group. You are always in it, you have control over removing people or inviting gooder people. And you can actually explain mechanics to people willing to listen.

Hi I am new to rogue I wanted to ask what are the main differences between the 3 specs since all 3 are melee dps I don’t really understand what is the difference
I did already try subtlety for context

assa is a slowish 1min/2min burst spec that otherwise maintains dots and buffs. it also has execute damage.

sub is a 90s burst spec with frequent miniburst windows every 20s or so. it is fast/high damage in its big/mini burst cooldowns and very slow/low damage outside.

outlaw is a fast flat profile spec that plays a bit faster/does a little more damage during adrenaline rush (around 40% uptime). no real burst cooldowns to speak of

also outlaw needs to have a slow mainhand (sword/mace/whatever) and the other 2 are locked into 2x dagger

Each gear track now only accepts a singular type of Crest (Champion Gear accepts Champion Crests the entire time)

better than initial MN, slightly worse than TWW but workable

all in all, a big upgrade from what was slated to be

slightly dislike the tightness - crafted item is now not "free every 4 weeks", but it could be worse

Socket week is still "free crafted", though, so that still works out...

Overall 8/10 to this change, good job Blizz. Didn't even force us to fuck around with the beta system for half a season, which is a major improvement.
