I am a classic andy returning to retail with intention to play in Midnight :)) I will use the legion remix to level my rogue as main and pick up some skins along the way and then transition to midnight. My question is - what spec is the most fun and be good transitioning to midnight. My last experience playing rogue is in WOTLK so...idk where to begin. Any advise would be appreciated!

I'd say just play all of them in remix en see which one you enjoy the most, swapping specs is really easy. Also all 3 specs are getting a lot of changes in midnight and will play differently from how they play right now

Seems like a stretch, only 3-4% of all m+ players do keys 16+, and around 10% do 14+, so I'd say 15-16 seems like a good cutoff as mentioned before

I thought about videogames the other day, and how wow is unique from my perspective. In most videogames I feel like I have to play it because x y z, for example god of war I have to finish it to experience the conclusion to story, but I know I have to deal with the clunky camera angles and weapon swapping which I dislike. Assassin's creed games feel like a chore from start to end nowadays, spiderman has that childish humor I can't stand. But Wow I just play because I want to and it's fun. I set my own goals, make excel sheets around them, executing a rotation well is a good feeling etc. The only drawback is that I have to play with other people. Have you experienced something similar?

But my WoW goals usually end up being chores, and i HATE chores.
It gets to a point that i don't feel accomplished when i finish my goals, but relieved it ended.
My usual goals every season:
- Getting all the rogue set recolours from LFR to Mythic;
- Farming whatever transmog i enjoy from the raid;
- Doing M+ up to 2500 / Getting all the portals;
- Leveling an alt or two just to try them out and quit them after a few hours.
- Having acceptable raid parses;

I haven't played them all, I started with monster hunter: world(+iceborn which is the dlc), then I tried MH: Rise(+sunbreak) but this one is a bit niche since it was a switch exclusive for a long while, I ended up enjoying it a lot.
Now Wilds is fun, I like it, I hunt monsters every now and then.

Its actually insanely convoluted to check the amount missed
Because that number you just linked counts any refreshes as a double proc. Ie if you get the buff with the feather icon, let it time out and get another one it will correctly show 2 applications, but if you get it and then get another one before the buff has run out (or you picked up the orb) then it will show it as 3
So you have to press both buffs, go into the events tab and count the amount of times the buff shows as "Gains" in the log, rather than refreshed
For example this log of fractilus i picked up 12/12 orbs

i found subtlety very kill time dependent, I did Loomithar normal twice yesterday, one was 20% lower dps than the other, and I think I have the rotation down pretty well. The only difference was 2:45 (higher DPS) and 3:05 kill times. Around 2 minutes or 3:30 would be ideal. But I'm still nowhere near my fatebound numbers.

Hayooo ! As a long-unemployed guy i'm trying to hone some old skills, mostly my web app dev skills. Having a clear objective and planning helps a lot when building apps, so i was thinking about something that would keeps me on track.
I was thinking about writing a kind of rogue compendium laying basis of the overall class then going into some very basic and visual spec shananigans to explain the rogue and its specs core gameplays to noobish people. Rogue is often thought to be a non-noob friendly class but hey, who doesn't love an assassin ? So I'm willing to do my best explaining how to rogue to people that are badder than I am
The project would focus on whats important understanding to improve your dps if its very low (lets say grey-green parse) :
- How to regenerate energy if you feel always starved
- Poisons and what they do for your spec (energy regeneration and lot of dmg for assa, more utility for other specs)
- CP, and how to spend them (insisting on not overcapping CP)
- Main utilities and macros (my go to cc macro being : /cast [stealth,nocombat] Sap; [stealth] Kidney shot; Cheap shot)
Then going in a bit of depth explaining the core loops of the three specs.

and midnight hasn't had an official release date yet, so it's hard to say exactly how much time you'll have left, but I'd wager you have about 3 months left before the prepatch? give or take, so that should be plenty of time to kill dimmy
