I think the issue is more that almost all the fights are the same damage profile. And sub's problem is that is doesn't gain much added cleave damage for extra targets. Like Hunter has talent choices that allow it to focus on cleave or 5+ targets, but sub just has nothing and it isn't like there isn't room for improvement. There is no hero talent choice with trickster, and there are 5-6 dead talents in the spec tree. Dark Brew, Gloomblade, Shrouded in Darkness, Lingering Shadows, Goremaw's Bite, Shuriken Tornado, Night Terrors, Terrifying Pace are all zero usage in pve and pvp (maybe darkbrew is used in pvp).

Atrophic Poison should probably also be changed to a 3% DR aura rather than a debuff so it can actually be useful on the boss mechanics that deal damage.
