hey, general question regarding vault/myth upgrades, is it worth taking a large ilvl upgrade (like 259->272 neck) over a smaller upgrade to a bis piece (like 269 -> 272 tier gloves). We love Haste Breakpoints

There was a minor bug within simcraft that undervalued very high haste setups. Now after fixing this its been discovered that for Deathstalker specifically, getting around ~1050 haste is better than the ~600 that has been recommended before (remember this is after flasks+oils). With this the difference between Deathstalker and Trickster is more pronounced and DS actually pulls ahead in pure single-target by like 4% instead of the 1% that it was before in the best profiles. Keep in mind that the AoE and cleave from Deathstalker is still noticeably worse than Trickster so it might not be ideal on most bosses, but there are definitely some more single-target focused bosses where this could be the play.

Another thing thats been discovered is that if you do NOT have guidon already its probably a good idea to aim for ~800 haste as Trickster rather than 700, because the 800 allows you to fit a second Secret Technique inside of your shadow blades (as sectech clones hit 0.6/1.2 seconds after you press the button). Similarly to how we currently play with guidon you would hold the second Dance until the last 8 seconds of Blades and then cast the Secret Technique without supercharger. This allows Secret Technique to line up better across the fight later on.

Ive also pushed some minor adjustments to the simcraft APL to account for this.

TLDR: New passive haste breakpoints, still AFTER oils & flask.
Trickster with Guidon - Aim for ~700 haste (same as before).
Trickster without Guidon - Aim for ~800 haste.
Deathstalker - Aim for ~1100 haste.

EDIT: With the Cloud Cover changes Trickster is ~1.5% ahead of Deathstalker in pure ST, so the Deathstalker stuff is mostly redundant unless you want to play it for thematic reasons.

well its ~4% better than trickster in a pure ST situation (as per the latest pin and if you actually have the gear )
so ill guess it will actually be the play to go DS in no cleave fights (probably even lura?)
but as long as the mark bug is there i wouldnt play it personally, though that seems to change in the .5 patch
