Pretty new to sub. Got the chance to run a dungeon with a fellow sub rogue who absolutely blasted me in dps. Trying to compare things. We had relatively similar damage breakdowns of casts with him being me overall by about 5% more casts(expected... still learning).
What was insane to me was just how much MORE damage his stuff did than mine.
His BP and Secret Tech's were on average doing 35-50% MORE damage than mine. I feel like I'm following the rotation priority pretty well. Only thing I can think of is dance macabre which I admitely don't actively think about. Should I be actively thinking about it and tracking it?

During your Flagellation and Shadow Blades you want your second Shadow Dance to be cast immediately after the first one ends. You do not
want to cast Symbols of Death at the same time as your second Shadow Dance, but rather 1 or 2 seconds later when Secret Technique has
10 seconds or less remaining. This is to make sure you supercharge the Secret Technique instead of an Eviscerate.
Because of this a Shadow Dance+Symbols of Death macro is not ideal.

Try it with heroic bracers and and mythic dagger. Lense actually scales (very slightly). Nothing else does.

nope, first or second depends on a few factors but as long as its supercharged you're good
and for 2nd sectech it won't be first bc you cast symbols when it has 10 sec left on its cd then consume first charged cp on evisc to pull sectech

blades last exactly as long as 2x dances so you want to fire them back to back to make sure you have full coverage
