So my best interpretation of what is happening is that the sepsis cast will always start at a very minimum of 5 seconds and the trigger for the stealth cast happens once half of the sepsis' full damage has been done
So if you don't press vendetta, that would happen at 5 seconds in, but when you pair it with vendetta it would happen at 2.5 seconds in

ive been doing some damage comparisons of my two legendaries with doomblade and master assasin and the master assasin legendary does way more damage for me, both in sustained and burst damage but for some reason wowhead recommends doomblade
on burst the damage with master assasin was close to 4x the amount of doomblade and sustain during sustain both performed equally, doomblade legendary also has 70 levels more
