And take it from me, I did nothing but heroic and like 2 mythic bosses, since legion

I had to learn this lesson myself

But when you look at ilevel parses for the night

And you get a 95 on one boss, and a green on the next, and then you parse a 60 for ilevel and an 80 for overall on the 3rd boss

You start to realize that it doesn’t really reflect what you are and what you do

And that’s not to say I’m bad or you’re bad

It’s just not an accurate statistic

And yes

You’ll find times where you can look at statistics and find stuff that makes you feel better

But it’s like a 3 target fight

Oh @normal mist another anecdote story before I go. Back when I was a heroic week before patch AotC nobody, I sent a guild app. This guild, no good mind you, wasn’t a mythic guild, just was heroic a little faster. Real clown shit. The raid lead’s motto was essentially “we’re heroic raiders, our gear sucks, item level parse is where it’s at”. I sucked though, I sucked a lot. And I got declined, from that 3 month of heroic prog or whatever guild. So I told them I would get my parses up and you know what I did? I swapped my bracers for greens off the auction house and swapped a trash dungeon trinket I had, for a leveling trinket I hadn’t vendored yet, dropped 25 item levels, was in a bracket of 5 other people. So I went back into a pug, with my “good” gear, got in, swapped to my greens, and I fucking 100 ilevel parsed the entire god damn raid that night. And those shitters in that guild were too dumb to see that I cheesed that nonsense so hard, and I got accepted instantly

Well, if you're at max combo points, you should not press garrote

Instead you pool normally and finish with Envenom and then reapply garrote after your Envenom

That's the magic of pandemic. It allows you some leeway to plan your buttons accordingly. Using garrote at max combo points would be a waste of a combo point.

You can safely wait 5 ish seconds before slamming a garrote on top, you don't immediately have to do it. But you can always safely slam a rupture when you're at max-1/max combo points and it enters pandemic.

Just because your Garrote is in pandemic, does not mean that you have to immediately press it.

It’s combo point generator is kinda lackluster in comparison to sub. Because you’ll hit 5 targets & it’ll give 1 combo point sometimes if you don’t crit. When sub will always get the combo points it wants with enough targets. Also it hits 8, not just 5 unfortunately.

Sylv drops 4 items, equal chance for each means 1/4 for a dagger, so you should on average see a dagger every 1/4th of 20% which is 5%, or every 20 kills. Vault has 3 slots, if we average every boss dropping 3 items (they don’t, but this is the “good luck” I guess), then you have 30 items, 3 slots, so with no repeats you can see 1 specific item a total of 1 in 30 + 1 in 29 + 1 in 28 times, which is 3.3% + 3.4% + 3.5%, for a total of 10.2% chance, which means a dagger every 10 full 3 slot heroic weeks. Combine it with the kill chances brings it up to 10.2% + the 5% from earlier is 15.2% which is between 6 to 7 weeks to see a dagger on a given difficulty if you clear and clear and clear and clear

I used to have all 3 roles and it displayed sub colour cause that was the one I clicked first. Had to remove that role to display the second choice aka outlaw

u can do a sim for aoe if you want
