You can cloak other peoples lasers when you’re doing runes.
You can also cloak the orbs and clear a bunch of them in the middle of the room where the very center rune is.
There’s many useful things you can cloak.

When you’re doing runes, there are lasers that can mess you up pretty good if you overlap with someone else doing runes
P sure you can cloak the beams as well

Probably yeah. Individual dps shards aren’t that huge of a dps upgrade by themselves. It’s the sets that push them over the top. A heroic ilvl chest with non ideal stats + a dom shard could sim about the same as a better statted 252
