It's not bad, its even better with some gear/conduit setups its just stricter than doomblade

with it you can play all 3 specs in keys or raid and not be a complete sandbag too so if that's something you enjoy.

I crafted rank 5 doomblade though, so I personally think that obedience is only worth it if you swap specs

The way I look at it (and I could be wrong) if you’re holding it for 5-6 seconds a bunch over the fight you’ll end up losing casts and uptime on shiv. Slamming it on CD makes sure you never lose uptime

The difference in DPS between Doomblade and Obedience is less than 1% with "full" gear.
I'd personaly go with the latter(and I probably will), because it's also very good for M+. So I wouldn't have to craft 2 legendaries. 🙂

Generically speaking main stat is worth 2-3 DPS each for ALL DPS specs, which is always higher than secondaries

I'm sure there are some exceptions, but it's a good general rule

Sim yourself to know for certain, but on 4 classes it's been that way for me for each spec

Casters, for example, still rock the Int gems because it's technically more DPS. Granted, it's by 2. But if you're min-maxing and they cost the same, why not?

I have gotten more used to BS/DS, still don't love it but learning. When I started sin coming from outlaw I had to play EP/vigor for the feel. I took the like 50 dps loss for better feel in rotation
