you can check timers for where clockwork heart likely isn't very good, wrathion fly is at like 1 min so you lose an entire cycle there for example
exsang is just 'press it when your bleeds are at a decent length', current sim usage is just pressing after a rupture refresh unless rupture is already decently long when it comes off cd, as long as garrote isn't <5.4 already

Yeah regarding the earlier conversation, most of what people "feel" pull to pull is just normal variance (of which there is a huge amount) that we have no control over. That's just the way the game works. By simming or whatever, we play the averages and just put ourselves towards having the best statistical chance to succeed, but it is not an assurance that things will go your way.
Given how WoW works (especially with Corruption) you can equip a gearset that is 10% better (let alone 1%) and still do less damage than the pull you had before. It's less likely this will happen, but it can definitely still happen. The DPS ranges for even identical gearing and identical play (by a machine that makes no mistakes) are pretty huge.
Most of our optimization is far too small to actually feel any difference from. Rotational mistakes are the types of things we have control over, but gear rarely affects that much.
Like over a sim of 15k iterations, we'll see a DPS range of upwards of ~25% or more which is pure RNG.
And probably looking at upwards of 10% range just within 1 standard deviation from the mean
So the goal should always be to play as best as possible and gear as optimally as possible, but you'll almost never be able to "feel" if that is effective on a single boss pull, or even 20 boss pulls.

depending on each boss and if you wanna go for m+ you use different azerite traits. The 3x DD is especially good at single target boss fights, while SS is typically picked for M+ for obvious reasons. Looking at your talents i was wondering what you want to do, since going crimson tempest is for M+ aoe and 3x DD is raid ST, and i cant imagine a fight where i would go CT instead of Poisonbomb

ironwire and exsang are on different talents rows, but picking TB or exsang in M+ while having 3x SS shouldnt make the greatest difference. If you wanna go for m+ aim for 3x SS in combination with echoing blade (for aoe heavy dungeons) or TtK/HoD.

Magetower is pretty straight forward. Depending on affixes you need to decide whether you kick the cast or the sheep. And never activate the boss before your kick is off cooldown again.

i always do mage tower first so i can use vendetta on him as well. Garrote, 1x NP vendetta, and i can usually burst him down quickly enough that he dies from dots within a couple seconds of teleporting

few weeks back I asked what I could do better in my rota. the problems were the opener and using vanish as cd and not overusing mutilate (if it happens then becuase it was hectic and I spammed my key 😉 ).

order isnt great for your second set of cooldowns, also theyre about 20 seconds late, which matters because you could have squeezed another blood usage in before the end of the fight
or you could have used blood at 1:30 then 3:00 with lust, saving 2mins til 3:00 since you werent gonna get another set in before the fight ends

In reality Iris, breath, clf and WV could be better but will rarely be considered.
This is not a problem, essence choice is only a very small part of your dps.
