Question. I been seeing rogues in raid who are outlaw or Sin with a mace and dagger equipped. I was under the impression that certain abilities wouldn't work if you had those type of weapons equipped when a spec didn't allow it. Just wondering cause one rogue in the rogue who did was specced outlaw and he/she was iLvL 453 and was doing great DPS.

to play sin you need 2 daggers

to play outlaw you need a mace / axe / sword in mainhand, you can use daggers in offhand

those conditions are because you can't cast TB or mutilate without 2 daggers

and you can't cast dispatch without a 1 hander in the mainhand

@strange python, typically i find when you have both with optimal gear Assass is the preferrable spec, gives you a lot more control over your dps, toxic blade gives you great priority target damage at no AoE expense

and your azerite is basically as good as you want it this week, except for KR maybe

@sacred ore for what type of fight? if it's m+ ofc SS/Subt. If raid - depends on boss. If pure st - check sim. If some sort of aoe, like vexiona - there i would go subt.
