Thoose trait are not really "snapshot" it's just NS increase the dmg of your next ability, so if you press Rupture, the dmg buff apply to the entiere dot duration.

Today dots don't snapshot anything like they did before. You have Rupture/Garrote running, you get a HM proc, it buff your dots damage as long as HM remains, when it fade your dots go back to normal dmg

Well I miss-understand! SS/NS is snapshotting in this way : If you apply a SS-Empowered garrote in pandemic range you get a 24sec full empowered garrote
Logic would say "old garrote keep ticking and you only get 18sec of empowered garrote" but here is a snapshotting, you indeed get a 24sec of empowered garrote

really long tb breaks cost you a full tb across the fight aswell as offsetting it weirdly making your font/coral suboptimal later cause you always have tb ready the second your font is done

poison knifing is kinda never required on maut, you randomly cast one at :45 with 112 energy which would be plenty of time to get back into melee and spend
maut is a fight you barely ever have to move even, if you're moving early or far with puddles just don't, melee literally want puddles ontop of their camp basically
lots of crimson vialing, which i mean.. it's not bad to be safe but it's not ideal to spend 150 energy on healing yourself if you don't need to, some of these aren't even during reflect

Yeah, I used it and TBH, the shoulder and chest was only a few hundred DPS better than my heroic Nyalotha pieces. I haven't simmed compared to mythic, however I'd assume mythic might pull ahead.
I want to say the helmet that has swirling sands on it simmed the highest for me at about 2.1k over mine
