Before the patch I had about 2k haste and sims still wanted me to get more haste. Now I have about ~1200 haste, crit and mastery, with 600 vers and haste is now my least desired stat.

Long one here.. I got a 475 stars ring from chest today. Last week I coined the dagger from heroic carapace, just now snagged a socketed normal carapace dagger from my TW cache. Plus I have T2 heroic haste belt. I just feel like by the time I'll be able to use all 4 more daggers will drop or I'll see a mythic one. Just keep glancing at the cleanse. Anyway to approximate the dps value of a specific cleaned item.
I'm not big on M+ farming aside from the weekly 15. Thoughts? Have a 450 and socketed 445 atm.

Okay, I ran both sims. I'm getting a 7k DPS difference between them (that's actually way more than I expected).
I'm still seeing a 6k DPS difference between my DPS without flasks etc and my simmed DPS without flasks etc.
From what I know (correct me if wrong please, I'm still new at this and want to learn) a sim asumes ideal conditions, almost perfect playstyle, etc. So I suppose there should be some difference between a sim and actual DPS.
Is 6k difference too much though?

i managed to snag some level 3 echoing void boe boots for cheap on AH, and simmed em. on ST they come up as a 7k dps upgrade over my 470 with socket (not surprising), but when i simmed them for m+ (using dungeon slice on raid bots) they only come up as a 6k dps upgrade. seems odd to me since they should be doing far more on aoe than ST - anyone know why this is?

well extra haste wouldn't hurt, but in m+ the value of haste isn't as high as other stats. I'd run C&S over iris as a minor unless corruption really is an issue
although the minor for breath is good damage to justify using over C&S if the corruption resist is necessary

if u were to take the original ring off, youd have different statweights than before, and those are the stat weights you should use for picking which second ring to put on. so the weights shown with both rings on may say, put on this other ring, but the act of removing the first ring changes your weights around to make it a dps loss
