Well in a very typical dung where you are doing some double packs with 6 mobs+ then some shorter pack with 3 mob, then a boss then another 3 mobs then a nother big 10mob pack, in that Situation SS is a very good trait because it's polyvalent and mostly good in all of this situation
But when you go in higher keys,connecting the packs is something that make you win a lot of time. And sometilme you can't just go straight forward and pull 3 packs. You first need to kill a priority target before connecting the packs. In that case SS loose some value

The think is that Assasination in m+ is a polyvalent spec and it's up to you to determine which balence you need with TTK/SS/EB depending on what keys your are doing, what keystone range you are or even what your composition is
