Keep in mind sims (if you have it set up by default) assumes Patchwerk, as in zero movement, just attacking a boss full on, nothing else. You likely have mechanics and movement to deal with that causes a loss to that, which is natural.

generally speaking id be using it at the end of a pull and going into the next pull with highstacks

if you expect the tide trait to be on cd alot, yes behemoth chest would be better but thats hard to sim. as you cant recreate ever possible scenario in a generic raid group. if you play it giga safe it should be fine (??) and if you are going try to push the edge why wouldnt you optimize your dps? @drowsy scroll
