Having a hard time wrapping my head around this, all the guides seem to show shrouded suffocation as the best outer ring azerite ability for assassination single target, but why? Wouldnt this only give you just a few extra combo points over the duration of a boss fight, as in only from stealth? The added damage seem pretty small too. A bug was found regarding the Dagger in the Back azerite trait.
- Trait is over valued a lot in simc
- The bug revolves about the debuff from the trait being unique on the boss/target.
What this means simply is that if someone else's has Dagger in the Back on the target and you proc yours, it will refresh their stack instead of yours. It is a big group damage lost the more people have the trait since only whoever applies the debuff first will benefit and everyone else will waste theirs completely
