I'm checking good parsers timeline on bosses and I see that some open fight with ambush, some don't. What's best ?. Then after stealth they cast garrote 2 times... why so ? Doesn't this override the improved garrote with a normal one ?

We start fights while stealthed as best as we are able to, so that we can start with improved garrote on the target. We then do it twice (spaced out) within the first 6 seconds of the fight to have it up for as long as possible (the second being just to renew the timer). We can then vanish and pandemic the improved garrote if we wish to or just save it for situational stuff

Farming them

• 5 needed per upgrade, can only upgrade weapons and trinkets (+9 ilvl on maxed hero/myth track, +10 ilvl on crafted)
• they are uncapped, you should just spam +10 or higher m+, as they are guaranteed. Heroic/Mythic raid bosses are also guaranteed drops.

Upgrade Prio

1. Mainhand Myth dagger (the left slot on your character window, any Myth dagger will do, we don't care about the secondary stats on it. If you don't have a myth dagger go get one from +10 rerolls while you're farming shards)
2. Puzzle box (best trinket value)
3. Gaze of the Alnseer (2nd best trinket value, ilvl upgrades just suck because it scales weird)
4. Offhand dagger (crafted dagger, offhand daggers don't contribute to ability damage so we leave this for last)
