BiS lists are not helpful towards gearing yourself. In order for BiS items to truly be BiS, all items in the list have to be obtained at that level exactly, or else it doesn't make sense. Missing a socket for example would shift your stats slightly. On top of this, all stats being good on Assassination means there are currently over 500 "BiS" combinations that are within margin of error. You should always compare your gear through top gear or droptimizer instead.

Pre-raid or Pre-season BiS from world content is especially not helpful, and we do not maintain any lists of these types. These are absolute meaningless bait for gear that you will be replacing the moment the season comes out. Use Top Gear/Droptimizer to compare against your character.

In big pull like AA on 10 keys where little adds die fast how to play it? USe CT till big hp adds hae bleed then spam fok and envenom?

you can almost do the math manually I think. Like caustic and crimson tempest are both reduced beyond 5, so they're equally DR'd based on the pack and we can ignore that

crimson tempest is like roughly 10-11k per hit when it's not getting reduced, envenom is a consistent 100-110k. Caustic spatter is 25% of that on fatebound, so we're looking at every caustic hit from envenom doing roughly 2.5x the damage of every crimson tempest hit. Okay, so we'll put that to the side

Now the question is all the flat, non-aoe stuff. CT applies 2 garrotes, 2 ruptures, and 2 internal bleedings, but you would've cast the CT regardless, you're just delaying it by 1 gcd to envenom. So we'd have to look at how much those do. Per tick, rupture is like 13.5k, garrote is around 22k, internal bleeding is like 3.5k. That's per tick so ~1.7 seconds, so we're at a total of 39k per tick, 23k per second, two targets is 46k damage? And like technically you're delaying the future gar/rup as well whatever I'll be generous and I'll double it, round it off, lets say that's 100k damage you're getting.

But we said the aoe from caustic is 2.5x that of crimson tempest, we didn't count the up-front damage of envenom earlier. Envenom does 100-110k, so that's pretty much equal. We haven't counted one more thing though, the poisons and poison bomb. So I think it goes without saying, we want the envenom buff up. Let's ignore that. You can also make the argument that CT applies a bunch of poisons and that's uncapped and really good and I can run through the probabilities of all of that and do that math but it's very boring and messy and we're gonna skip it and I'm just going to post this breakdown where poison bomb (envenom's damage) is roughly 2x the damage of all instant-hits from poisons. But that's counting ALL poison hits, and crimson tempest was 337 hits, melee+fok was 180, so out of the roughly whatever ~500ish hits that apply poisons, CT was only ~2/3rds of them, so the 4.19% of instant damage from poisons is really only like 2.7% from CT, where as poison bomb is still banging out 7% dps on this pull, which is 3x that amount.

Anyway, sorry that happened or happy for you, I ain't reading that whispyr, blah blah blah, tldr, even if we're generous to CT, it loses on like 3 different comparisons hope that helps

okay a couple things, your damage might suck cause your gear is genuinely non-existant, that kinda doesn't help with any comparison of why your damage is low or whatever, that ele sham is sort of giga carrying the key.

Rotationally it looks kind of okay, just remember to deathmark before you kingsbane, not the other way around.

I think in general you're also casting CT way more than necessary. On the first pull thhere was 8 mobs and you cast CT 6 times. CT spreads to 2 additional targets, so I should be seeing 4. This is pretty common across a lot of the pulls, like a 5 pack and there's 5 CT casts.

You're also casting shiv a ton, and I'm not sure why? I looked at the replay to see what enrage you're clearing and it seems like you're just kinda hitting it sometimes, I can't find a reason on a glance.

I'd also prefer to see more vanish casts, 6 is a bit low for 36 minutes, and you definitely had some pulls where you could've refreshed improved garrotes but used a regular garrote instead.

Your cds also get really messy, but that's probably a byproduct of all the deaths. There's like massive gaps without a kingsbane, and then a deathmark with no kingsbane and like some other whack ones where it doesn't line up, but I'm willing to chalk that up to just being on the floor

if you are at 80 stacks and allowing your envenom to drop (either by mut mut rupture mut mut wait or whatever you are doing) will NOT over cap your energy then let it drop and then continue on with rotation, can envnom the second it drops. If you would over cap energy while waiting, dont worry about it and just keep rotating until you can safely take the energy boost

normally in opener with lust you cant really let it drop

without overcapping

usually if you are like.. Idk.. half or less energy you are ok to let envenom buff drop, get implacable and keep going
