hey buddy, does it show that you need mastery? because for me it still says i need more crit and haste, right now im at 38% crit and 21% haste, and mastery at 30%... according to the simulation, both in single target and aoe it says i benefit a lot more from continuing to stack crit and haste

i imagine part of it is influenced by the puzzle box, which gives large amounts of mastery periodically, but i dont know… it still feels like im low on mastery

if you're trying to get more aoe you can pump more mastery

haste sort of falls off as you get more targets

so that is kind of an option

but like with any sort of target-scaling thing

that is sort of really awkward to recommend something for

dungeonslice will give a good healthy "average" in that regard

just realize that mastery is going to get better with more aoe, haste is going to get better with less

and then spits out whatever the better one is, right?

so lets say you did that same process with stat weights, or even better, you have addon like pawn where you can input a stat weight and it'll give you this cool green arrow on all your items that says UPGRADE! 15%!

and you go "WOW GREEN ARROW GOOD" and blindly equip your shit

what's happening there is you have Belt A equipped, you go to sim

it says +120 haste is +1.2k dps, each haste is worth 10 dps

repeat for all the stats

so +120 crit might be +1.3k dps, so it's 10.5 or whatever I can't be fucked to math

so when you get these highlighted rows

that are "sidegrades"

what that means is that it's within that 28 dps difference

and the sim doesn't know for sure which is better

it would have to keep simming more and more and more and more to get more accurate

but there's diminishing returns on that

like if you sim 10 iterations, you have an error of like 9%

100 iterations you get that down to like 1.5%

and then it just ramps

so 0.05%, you need around 11k

Unless it's been changed recently, Plater shows all debuffs and doesn't filter them.

Most other nameplate addons will use blizzards default filter and hide unimportant debuffs while keeping your important ones.

For example, Platynator really only shows Garrote, Rupture, Kingsbane and Deathmark. Everything else is hidden.

i was comparing r1 dragon log and i am confusion.
he spams ct without envenoms in between. makes sense for sudden demise. do i also spam with the normal talents ?
he also refreshes only rupture before he goes into his cts but no garrote. does garrote matter less for sudden demise and should i also refresh without it (im assuming no)

Usually take top logs with a grain of salt as well. I usually check like 3 or 4 from the top 10. Especially at this point in the tier, they are doing silly things for fun. So try to compare a few and if there are outliers think of why (or come ask) and gather information that way instead of just looking at 1

So I timed my first ever 15, and it was academy and I felt amazing, was top dps as sub, was close to hard swapping to assa but I had a lot of fun the buff for sub feels way bigger

uh there are probably better people to hold for add. Best you can usually hope to do is CT your bleeds onto it or if not, get your bleeds going on it and do normal rotation. If its alive for a whole KB I think its too slow anyway and its fucked. Sort of a waste of KB if it dies halfway through as well

Yeah ideally you go smack it for 10 seconds then back to boss to set up for KB but I guess it depends on how far behind your add/adds are and your comp. Surely someone else is better suited. I can hit that thing full time and do wet noodle damage
