in my head i imagine an addon that takes the blizzard debuff, relocates it where i want it, and if the enemy has that debuff, it shows up, using blizzard's own debuff tracking system
I mean since its the regular bleeds you can probably do it with an addon, but custom spell ID tracking is what they wanted to remove
If you want it separated from the rest of your cds/spells
But by default its included in the cooldown manager
Just mess around with it and/or download better cooldown manager or arcui and see what can do

Little late for this question, but I figure i'll throw it out there anyway. Is it normal when soloing a tier 8 delve for an assassin rogue's health bar to bounce like a stereo equalizer playing dubstep? Feels like it's 100% to 20% to 80% (step on a potion) back to 10% so fast i get dizzy. Am i doing something wrong here or do the mobs in t8 delves just stomp on rogues?

No, i'm not vanishing. It's like some kinda situation where brann has all the threat and i have zero threat (fight just started) so the game has a conniption fit and evade cheats, then despawns the mob
It did the same thing on a hunter if i misdirected to brann
(that effect is mostly only the "boss" mobs and sometimes the special elites you kill to get buffs)

Technically if there's 2 big adds in a pack you should be cycling envenom between the 2 because you realy only need to apply it every 6 seconds, but no one ever does, you should be good just poping as soon as possible.

Damage and duration increased per combo point." It seemed like that the target hit receaved a increase in damage from the poison already applied

combo points are on your self, not enemies. why would you want it on the enemy plates? you can reposition your UI element for the points to be center of your screen.
can a macro cancel target IF the target is out of range/not in front, for envenom, so i dont have to freaking spam escape when dumping trash packs and the target moves on me?

thats what im doing yeah, maintain rupture and garrote, in single target 1-2 mut/ambush, envenom, repeat. but for aoe CT 1-2, envenom, repeat CT until all ads are dotted, then FOK 1-2 envenom

the "Biggest" thing is that Crimson tempest is a AoE Bleed Spreader instead of a AoE Finisher
outside of that its the same as always: apply both bleeds->spam envenom, use stuff on CD

its applied on envenom now instead of mutilate, which is what i mean with "streamlining 1-2 small things" đ
and for trash pulls, is there much value in DM/KB if that target dies quick? I have Araz so I feel that does have value there at least.

im still gearing lol, returned to wow after like not playing for 20 years. just a few weeks in.
In general when you sim you do one of two things, dungeonslice for m+, or patchwerk 1 target 5 min for raid
Those are sorta the two comparisons we do
Dungeonslice is a 6 minute fight, starts with a boss, then has varying packs of small and large aoe, allows for restealths and chainpulls
Basically just everything youâd find in a dungeon
when i first did dungeon slice i didnt feel like it used CT enough is why i looked for other measurements. still feels low as i run with some higher geared people for tank and sometimes do larger pulls where im using CT a lot more than sim is showing.
Yeah because itâs a 6 min fight and itâs checking multiple pulls, the pulls might be shorter or smaller than some giga pulls
Thereâs been significant analysis done on the impacts of that and comparisons with other targets counts and lengths
And itâs been shown to be statistically insignificant
so i figured a 10 target patchwerk was a fair check for 'how much will this dps improve clearing a 10 mob pack'
Itâs not like the most exact science for every dungeon and every pack of mobs, but itâs close enough generally
also, wouldnt increased duration help factor in not every pull will have cooldowns?
Also big thing that it does over a patchwerk sim is allow restealthing

Dungeonslice used to basically be that, and then got cut down from a full dungeon to the 6 min slice we have now because it gave the same recommendations
And now theyâre doing the same thing with dungeonroute except because itâs so many extra pulls and timers and shit, itâs like a 45 min fight

In M+ AOE is it optimal to reapply rupture regardless of duration whenever we reapply garrote in order to save energy from having to spread bleeds with CT?
I understand weâre missing an apex talent that helps with energy, but that comes from envenom and in large pulls CT can energy starve before you go into envenom spam
Depends entirely on how long the mobs are going to be alive for and how much rupture time youâre wasting
Cause like on the pull theyâre synced up cause youâre double garroting
So the timers like up when you have to reapply the first time 30ish seconds later

But depending on how many cp youâre rupturing with on that refresh your rupture could be syncing or not syncing to various degrees

Now the rupture is definitely longer and you use the sync
But at the next refresh point youâre already 1:25ish into the fight

So I am seeing right now that assassination is ranked as c tier, but jumps up to a tier in the beta m+ in rankings according to archon. Is there a bunch of stuff right now that assassination doesnât have that makes them better come the next expansion? Sub has been feeling pretty good so far.
I know energy regen is the main issue for assassination, I just havenât done serious enough content yet to tell yet.
Tuning is just completely different between prepatch and beta
Its not an issue, its designed to not fill every global
Theyve also done almost no attempts to balance the prepatch, and they dont really need to as its just a "for fun" time until the expac drops

Well. if you really wanted to know what was happening last tier. there is a video whispyr made on youtube that goes over it most.
But they changed our caustic spatter which made it so and then suddenly our funnel got bugged, and it also included a tier set bug. which makes it so that sometimes our cooldowns were off cooldown faster or the reduction did not work at all.
most bugs end up being numerical inconsistencies or minor stuff

I used to play outlaw back in Wrath when it was called combat rogue. I miss the old killing spree and adrenaline rush combo. I kinda miss simple old wow where you just macros your big CDs together and did tons of damage and that was it

yeah, I share the same sentiments about them optimising wow for alternative mediums to pc, it could deffo be a new horizon / player base for them to draw from. My suspicion about why they would lie is one of two things; Either there's red tape / bureaucracy stopping them announcing OR they don't want the playerbase to aim their discontent with the admittedly massive changes midnight brings at xbox / microsoft - blizzard's PR team has been through hell already and likely very cautious

obviously during ur kingsbane and deatmark its not ideal to refresh ur rupture so you have to be sure to re apply dots before cooldown windows
i suggest read wowhead guide or icyveins guide first (read about pandemic and pooling)

When you dot things you press rupture and when you dont you press envenom like others already said i would recommend reading the wowhead guide there is a lot of information in there.

The ability pruning is a result of people complaining how hard stuff is and it happened multiple times, followed by an unpruning or things getting added through features/reworks.
The addon pruning is to remove unfair advantages through using stuff that isnt part of the game, many people complained about that aswell.
