like the best way to use MDT sims is to run like 10 different routes of each key to get some variance in timing, and then run every dungeon, and then pull all that data back together

which is in fact how they made dungeonslice all the way back in legion

and then to cut down on compute time, the dungeon got sliced up into sections

6 minute sections

with adds and then a boss

cause that models a fairly standard dungeon cadence

but then because lust timings got complicated, they flipped the order, boss first with lust, then the aoe afterwards, so it was easier to sim and didn't require a load of extra logic or classes coming up with their own lust rules

and thus, we have the modern dungeonslice

MDT just sends us back to square 1 again history repeats
