Preferences currently are wrist/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" overall, but Blessed Weapon Grip + Dawnthread can be VERY VERY slightly better in m+

Always craft a dagger for at least an offhand. Put Ascencion or Blessed Weapon Grip on it. Additional Crafts should be Wrist (maybe Belt later in the patch after dropping the delve belt) for your second embellishment, after that whatever low item level slot is fine, necks can be good crafts.
If you have a myth track weapon in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer

And for the next 2 seasons, people found exploits to get it back

I’m struggling to keep up with other DPS in ST in m+ and I don’t understand why. I reread multiple guides on ST rotation but I still get heavily outperformed by other classes.
I also took a look at someone else’s log and compared our DPS on bosses (bosses with no ads) and the difference is staggering. What gives?

Vanish->Ambush during cooldowns with Darkest Night up has two main benefits:

• Getting more mark uptime by reapplying when it's down
• Consuming Darkest Night then puts you from 3 stacks of the mark down to 2 since the mark is already applied

As of September 13th with the Echoing Reprimand Fix, that second part is broken. Blizzard inadvertantly added a bug where you cannot consume mark stacks while darkest night is active. This will hopefully get resolved quickly as it is quite impactful. Until that time, you might want to consider taking improved garrote in your single target build (instead of 1 point of vicious venoms, or instead of improved poison). You do not have to do this, and if you would like to continue to play without improved garrote, you would simply hold onto your vanish in case you drop the mark. Once the bug is fixed you would go back to vanish->ambush.

Realistically, if you hitting the tangles is the difference between a kill or not a kill, you should hit the tangles. But additionally, if you're the one thing standing between tangles dying and not dying, something has gone disastrously fucking wrong before that point.

2. A lot of human interpretation

Hello everyone, I have a bug, caustic spatter doesn't apply on my target after I garrote and rupture it, I tried to remoke gear, change talent, switch to sub, outlaw, then go back to assassination, closed and reopen the game, but caustic spatter doesn't work anymore, anyone knows what I could do ?

Caustic is not bugged. The Green Puddle on the ground is Poison Bomb, not Caustic Spatter. You are either:

1. Not using Deadly/Amplifying poison (or its not applied to your target)
2. Not using Rupture on your target
3. Not using Mutilate/Ambush if the above two are applied
