Take it slow. Use healer brann. Use evasion in your opener to not get one tapped by melees. Space the pots out. Tricks brann if you have to. Use bleed for trash and change to raid build for bosses. Take iron wire for silence

You get the loot from the bosses you killed on the specific difficulty. But you also unluck the vault options of bosses bevore the one you killed. So if you killed the first and third boss this season you also have a chance of the loot from the second boss in your vault

as a word of advice when you're applying to guilds, a lot of them will ask for your prior experience. In the vast majority of cases saying "I played classic" or whatever is fine, but if you link logs/achievements/titles/accolades from that era, you will most likely get laughed out of the discord. The game has changed significantly since that time, and most guilds will not care about how well you played in those old expansions. Best thing you could do is get some logs from the current patch in heroic raids and/or push mythic+ rating if possible. Those hold infinitely more weight and if your performance is decent enough, it should be easy enough to find a mediocre guild

from there it's just general ladder-climbing and moving up

play better, get into better guild, play better, get into better guild, repeat

(I say this from experience, I'm an officer in my guild and have been doing recruitment for nearly 3 expansions now. The moment we get someone linking WOTLK/Cata classic logs, they basically failed their application on the spot just for that alone)
