between first cooldowns and first kingsbane is a windows called "dry shiv" that means you use the first shiv that comes up after your cooldowns on the darkest night proc IF you have lingering darkness (nature dmg buff increase after deathmark expires), that means your guaranteed critical strike will benefit from darkest night, shiv and lingering darkness
then kingsbane window comes up, you just use kingsbane and use the shiv in the lat 8 seconds of it (kingsbane ramps up and deals more dmg towards the end thats why last 8 seconds in that windows are the best if you only have one shiv available)
afterwards it just goes back from the start

How does the overall dmg compare, if you use a subterfuge build for m+ instead of the one we currently use with 2 shivs?

I currently play the 2 shiv build, but I find the other builds much more enjoyable

Depends entirely on key level, bleed/hybrid MA will have higher overall in lower keys where things do not live long enough

Yeah I'd stay 2shiv ngl. Your overall may be a bit higher in thinks like cinder with ma but you're still going slower since your job is to do priority dps and boss dps

yep, figured as much, I mainly play outlaw but sometimes I just send it as sin, if I have dh tank

but I mean you still have a lot of room to goof off in 18s though, so maybe in cinder n stuff it will be fine

yeah but after that u need to understand that dslice is a +10 environment and not an accurate representation,we just get an idea out of it.Afaik 2shiv makes more sense

dslice is no +10 Environment

dslice is a mixture of different target pulls for X seconds, some downtime and then a 2-3 min ST fight for a Boss
