Some general concepts as to why people play different things:

• Ease of play: Bleed build is simply the easiest to play due to subterfuge/no kingsbane/less need for giant prio targets
• Boss damage: The cleave/zeross build is mainly for boss damage. Assa single target in keys is pretty bad, and the bosses would not be possible otherwise
• Specific Dungeons: Rookery as an example is very boss-heavy, especially the last boss, making bleed less ideal.
• Where the damage is: Bleed spreads out its damage and does great overall due to sudden demise and powerful 3-8 target damage. Hybrid is competitve but doesn't pull ahead until bigger AoE. Cleave is for single target damage and insanely large aoe because of how much caustic and crimson tempest carry aoe damage.

outlaw is zero chill, ever, unless you play it poorly - The constant influx of important to react to information will bring you severe mental fatigue if you don't play it often

im not against the idea itself, the idea is good

but when they go and say "we wanna make 3rd Party stuff weaker/disable it at some points and make our own things" when the 2 "addon replacements" they added (edit mode and CD tracker) are at best very mediocre (edit mode) and at worst for many things not even really usable and with 0customisation that it needs(cd tracker), and both getting literally 0 updates since they got added, its looks really bad

how am i supposed to trust the guys that, like i said, didnt even bother making you able track debuffs/dot timers for 20years now to suddenly make a good replacement/change stuff in general so its less needed just because they said they will do it? even more so with the recent added things that are all very often halfbacked at best

its a good goal in the end, but im legit scared of the reality being simply that we have to play for 1-2 years with half finished things that make the game worse until they finally made it somewhat OK

I wish Blizzard would introduce a new game mode called WeakAuras Encounter. It will be a set of dungeons and raids in which players must create custom-coded weak auras to execute the fight and then run it with some auto-player mode to see if auras execute a fight properly.
Finally, we don't need to play the game; the weak auras will do everything for us. We could even implement some AI to weak auras for this new type of encounter.
