Rik Reverb Barrels (and similar spread cleave in raid)

• Not your problem.
• Assassination is the worst target swapping spec in the game, and we have no tools available to deal with the situation of priority spread cleave. Caustic can reach sometimes but similar to fire mage, the boss needs to be on top of the adds, causing caustic to often be out of range.
• If you're truly hellbent on swapping to barrels, hold your nearest darkest night and just slam a darkest night envenom into them and pray. If you're quick enough you can also pool combo points/energy and cast a rupture on a barrel to try and caustic off of them. This still will not do good barrel damage, again, the spec is doomed for it
• Another possible option would be talenting into Crimson Tempest by untalenting Bone Spike and Doomblade. This CAN TECHNICALLY provide a bit of barrel damage, but the spawns need to be immaculate and any difficult spawns will just result in no barrel damage again.
  With all that, the best advice we have for swapping barrels:
• Swap to Subtletly.

What is a Bleed Build
A bleed build is one of the archetypes for M+ builds. Bleed Builds will typically avoid the middle and avoid taking poison/envenom talents.

Why are we talking about it
At the start of the season, bleeds received a buff, including the passive on Sudden Demise. We also got a buff to Ambush (and thus Blindside), which is something the bleed build can take advantage of. Kingsbane in general is also as weak as its ever been. Enter Bleed. Dropping Kingsbane however adds some additional niche issues in how the sim plays around things like shiv, which me and eleem have been fighting for the last week or so. Sims are updated (use latest) This might not be the end, but it's at least improved.

Talents
Basic setup:CMQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYmZMzMmBAAAAAAYWMmlZAAAAAAotlZmBzMGzMzysMYMmZmZmZmZYzyYGgNzyADYJYbYCMsMAFrom this setup, there's a couple of talents to fiddle with, and some you shouldn't touch. The ones you shouldn't touch are much easier. Simply put, you don't touch Arterial Precision, Lethal Dose, Blindside, Sudden Demise, Scent of Blood, Indiscriminate Carnage and Sanguine Blades. These talents are simply far too powerful to ignore. On the Hero Talent side of things, Follow the Blood is the better option due to it buffing Sudden Demise, but can be swapped for Momentum of Despair if you so wish.

If you want to take iron wire, the most reasonable option is to not use Lightweight Shiv. This comes at the penalty of making your Shiv usage much more rigid, and it's generally considered a big loss of quality of life as well as rotational execution.

Other options for talents include dropping bone spike for kingsbane. This is generally also not recommended as the AoE loss and slowing down of the opener is rarely worth it. In very small keys (below 10), it can be worth dropping Thistle Tea/Vigor for Forced Induction to get GIGA demise.

Rotational Changes
Very similar. You will want to Crimson Tempest in Single Target, maintaining this is a priority over a regular envenom, Darkest Night envenom is higher priority. Use Mutilate/Ambush 3 targets, and shiv for AoE with arterial precision.

There are some minor thing to keep in mind:

• Avoid refreshing a multi-target CT in single target (thank @slate crown for the WA to help track this
• Using shiv in AoE on <35% hp or below is a good idea for Zoldyck. At the end of boss fights it can be a good idea to keep a shiv for AoE
• Playing for Sudden Demise's execute effect can result in a real-world gain. As an example of this, a fully demised rupture is worth more than an envenom in 2 target situations. As it's impossible to model the sudden demise pop in sims, this is less rotational advice and more PSA that bleeds are good
• Sanguine blades is a large part of our damage. You will want to more aggressively rupture in aoe to keep your energy topped >50%
• In Single target, VERY minor gain (0.25%) to stay above 50% energy for sanguine damage. This can functionally be ignored in more hectic fights.

Final Note
Haste is GOOD for this build in single target as well as AoE. I am hesitant to give a number since it really just is a "sim yourself" moment, please do not take this as gospel, but as a general range, sims seem to trend between 8-11%. This makes gearing overall much easier as it can overlap with a raid setup, and comes with no downside compared to hybrid. Hybrid builds hate haste in AoE, Bleed builds do not. This also makes us a VERY good PI target. Death Knights should probably still get it, but we're competitive.

Indiscriminate Carnage Targetting and Swapping
TLDRMouseovers/Target swapping is optimal on 6 target, or 8+ targets, but not necessarily required

• The 2 Bleeds spread by carnage are smart and will prioritize mobs without the bleed. If everything already has bleeds it'll apply randomly
• You as the character are still casting the bleed against your target like normal, this is why people will sometimes use mouseover macros or swap targets

Swapping targets is situationally better, but can be ignored if you're having difficulties with it. Take 5 mob aoe as an example, your first garrote cast will apply to 3 targets (your target + 2 more). Regardless of if you swap or not, your second cast of garrote will hit your target, and then apply 2 more garrotes, prioritizing the mobs that do not have garrote. In very large aoe pulls (12 or more), a standard opener (garrote-garrote-rupture-rupture-garrote-garrote) will only apply 9 garrotes (3+2+2+2) and 5 ruptures (3+2) if you do not swap, losing you 3 garrotes and a rupture.

It is technically worse, but the situations in which you lose bleeds aren't very common; the lost ruptures/garrotes don't contribute much to your already flooded energy, you don't get additional scent of blood stacks, etc. The loss is purely the extra damage from those bleeds.
