runic power can run out, but running out of both runic and runes is basically impossible, it's there so that the interplay with runes happens
focus can run out, but you have steady shot to regen that on-demand in exchange for losing DPS

now, I confess to not having played any Monk and I dunno how their Energy works

I advocate for the 'dont try to learn 2 new things at once' strategy. Learn one at a time and it's quicker. Lower difficulty raid takes off some of the mechanical pressure and let's you focus on sub specifics

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.

• No, haste will not make this feel noticeably better.
• 10% haste only contributes to around 2 actions per minute
• You should be playing for envenom uptime in single target
