I have lots of thoughts on this back and forth. I say this as someone who puts a lot of passion work into stuff that goes out for free for others to use and benefit from. This isn't my job, though. And there's no way that the amount people would be willing to pay for this type of stuff could ever come close to replacing my day job. If it could, then perhaps I'd think differently, but that then puts a extra ticket price on people enjoying a game they are already paying for, and I could not in good conscious put out something that could benefit people who have already paid for their passion that some people couldn't access because of a financial burden. I know they're already paying a wow sub (or, maybe they aren't, I'm not paying a wow sub because I pay with gold).

Some people have money to throw around, others don't.

And I don't put in as much time as the TCs, nor is my content used by the same widespread playerbase as them
