Hello! Came back to WoW after a couple month break and was really enjoying sin rogue before I stopped playing. After I've come back I've had an issue with when I go vanish and ambush a target it no longer brings me out of stealth like it used to. I stay in stealth for a couple seconds before being able to spread my improved garrotes and ruptures. Am I stupid or was there a change that occurred that has caused this to now be the case?

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.
- No, haste will not make this feel noticeably better.
- 10% haste only contributes to around 2 actions per minute
- You should be playing for envenom uptime in single target

I personally just don't like how they've evolved it since legion/bfa, and having played m+ for nearly a decade at this point it's kinda burnout too. Target caps create unnecessary complexity without solving the issue of giga pulling that they wanted to fix with it, encounter design has gotten less fun for me as well with mechanics not being skill-checks anymore, but instead just bastardized pass/fail mitigation checks. Trash packs have devolved back into required kick assignments while the timer and the speedrun nature of the whole system has since been thrown out
