The breath/frontal from the first boss in Necrotic Wake is bugged and goes through cloak of shadows despite it doing magic damage.
To prevent this you need to have the first second of cloak up whenever the breath hits you, in other words cast cloak when his cast has less than a second left, then it will be immuned and you will not take damage.
Sidenote: You can also use evasion to dodge the breath whenever cloak is not ready.

Oh nooo, for spine kill 3/4 tentacles and then stand in the puddle where they spawn. let bloods come to you and then kill them. Kill the last tentacle you have up and it'll spawn an add. run him over the bloods and he'll get big to explode. kill him, then kill the strands that attaches the back piece.
I think they buffed how many stacks bloods give because i remember doing this way back and having to wait forever for bloods. Whereas this time I got all 3 of my explosions off of the first set of bloods.
