Just once I wish people would recognize that

1. Guides aren't perfect, especially written guides. Things slip through. They will get fixed when pointed out
2. Guides aren't meant for Mythic progression players. The largst chunk of the target-audience are Beginner/Intermediate level players struggling with the basics
3. Guidewriters are human. We make mistakes
4. Discord/Streams and even Videoguides allow for much more indepth and accurate information
5. Just because something has been figured out very recently in Theorycrafting, doesn't mean it'll IMMEDIATELY pop up in a written guide that has a submission and proofreading aspect, ESPECIALLY after people just spent 50+ hours over 2-3 days updating them to be as accurate as possible.

I know it's a tiny sample size but I just did 5 min on the boss dummy trying to maintain 2 stacks (basically spamming) and then 5 min just maintaining 1 stack without capping and I got exactly the same DPS lol seems like it really doesn't matter

Preferences currently are wrist/belt/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer

Well, it used to be a spec where one of the major differences between ST and AoE was that ST had more limits on resources while AoE allowed you to spam stuff on GCD, giving you a lot more resources to work with.
