Explanation of why stealth benefits aren't as important as you might think:

• Garrote is roughly 10-12% of people's damage in a key, most of which is already empowered/cleaved
• Most energy spreading will come from Rupture to maintain scent of blood, not garrote
• Without a Trace (+1 vanish charge) only grants roughly 2 additional casts across a whole dungeon
• While Without a Trace can allow for better vanish timings, the difference in damage provided is at most replacing a non-stealth opener with a stealth opener (you aren't necessarily getting "added" casts, just "better" casts)
• You can argue that it "feels bad", but numerically there is very little ground to stand on, the dps simply isn't there.

2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer

Good, track what you need. Start smaller and add more as you think of them, don't have to overload all at once. hey guys, new here 🙂 assasination rogue, my iLVL is currently 607, my pars 1-6 (obv doing something wrong), I checked several sites and im doing the rotations of icy veins, but I end up with peak 700k damage. I checked with raidbots and my 5min patchwerk ends up with 970K damage. My issue is that I run quickly out of energy, eventhough I have Venomous Wounds active. My rotation is: stealth, ambush, garrote, rupture, slice and dice, echoing reprimand, deathmark, shiv, kingsbane, thistle tea, then proceed mutilate and envenom, after I refresh garrote and rupture when it runs out, (also doing the whole steps with vanish again) . As said I run out of energy very quickly and then the dmg drop begins. I really would appreciate if someone could give me any advice 👍 ❤️

All Specs are good and have niches and strengths that they play to. All three specs are looking viable with Assassination/Subtlety being preferred in raids. Mythic+ meta has not solidified yet but Assassination looked promising during beta.

Be aware that Simulations are a tool to be used to compare things like talents/gear/rotations, they are not the definite answer to what is meta or not meta. While outlaw is ahead in sims right now, especially dungeonslice, you have to take a step back and realize these are synthetic/generic situations that we use as a baseline. Dungeonslice has always been a great showing for outlaw simply due to the fight style matching well with the spec. This is not unusual or unheard of.

If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Crit = Mastery >= Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs from trinkets/enchants can often de-value their stat relative to others.
