well the first issue here is that trinkets/item effects don't spatter and don't get buffed by shiv so that already kinda is problem 1, problem 2 however though is that the trinket itself is pretty bad compared to higher ilvl myth track gear and if you really wanted to get a bunch of speed on your gear.... well.... You'd need a bunch of myth track gear with the tertiaries on it, or else you'd be downgrading all your gear just to get speed on it and if you have a bunch of myth track gear with the tertiaries you would also have access to just straight up better trinkets

Bubbling Wax (when it works) is roughly on par with whetstones and are free. Some caveats:

• MANY BUGS YEP
• Doesn't stack (only apply to one weapon)
• Sometimes just won't work in offhand (apply it to your left slot, whetstone on the right slot)
• If you die, wax instantly stops working and you have to unequip your dagger and re-equip
• Some hitbox weirdness because it's an AoE effect and it won't actually hit adds, especially on larger bosses
• The quickest way to farm for wax is pickpocketing the kobolds in front of darkflame cleft
• If you have no idea what any of this is, you need to start the questline with ""Brax's Brass Knuckles"", then walk into the inn and talk to the vent to start ""Go Take Candle"". Once you complete the short questline, you can pickpocket wax from the kobolds"

BiS lists are not helpful towards gearing yourself. In order for BiS items to truly be BiS, all items in the list have to be obtained at that level exactly, or else it doesn't make sense. Missing a socket for example would shift your stats slightly. You should always compare your gear through top gear or droptimizer instead.

Pre-raid or Pre-season BiS is especially not helpful, and we do not have any of them. These are absolute meaningless bait for gear that you will be replacing the moment the season comes out. Use Top Gear/Droptimizer to compare against your character

Preferences currently are wrist/belt/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer

Bubbling Wax (when it works) is roughly on par with whetstones and are free. Some caveats:

• MANY BUGS YEP
• Doesn't stack (only apply to one weapon)
• Sometimes just won't work in offhand (apply it to your left slot, whetstone on the right slot)
• If you die, wax instantly stops working and you have to unequip your dagger and re-equip
• Some hitbox weirdness because it's an AoE effect and it won't actually hit adds, especially on larger bosses
• The quickest way to farm for wax is pickpocketing the kobolds in front of darkflame cleft
• If you have no idea what any of this is, you need to start the questline with ""Brax's Brass Knuckles"", then walk into the inn and talk to the vent to start ""Go Take Candle"". Once you complete the short questline, you can pickpocket wax from the kobolds"

Generally depths for ST and radiant power for aoe, but honestly the difference isnt very big

might be a weird question, but does the energy recharge always at the same rate regardless of the current value of the energy? i.e. if I have 2 bleeds up on the target, is the energy recharge the same between 50-100 and 0-50? (sometimes it feels if u hit 0 that the recharge slows down, though could be placebo). thx
