I have some general questions just whenever someone is able to answer.

#1 Assassination Rogue - I love this class and intend on playing it but, I've just been popping around and gathering information and looking into Class Discords. The general opinion seems to be that Assassination Rogue is a rough class to learn when still learning the fundamentals of the game itself as for knowing when to: Stealth, Step Out, Step in, Juggle GCDs etc. It seems like overall, with the class where there is just a lot going on that its better to have primary gameplay knowledge first but, I wanted some feedback on this to gather some information as to if it would be better to play an easier class FIRST to get more general knowledge and learning fundamentals before dipping into a "more difficult" class.

#2 Gearing - Yesterday, I spent quite a bit of time doing SimC & Drop Droptimizer and I believe that I understand kind of how to read the information but, I'm not 100% on it. So I'm a bit confused on overall how to go about progressive gearing. (I know Delves are great but, T8 Bountiful w/ Assassination Solo is rough.)

Overall, I'm more so looking for general information to get a better understanding. As WoW has a lot more going on then I initially thought

Kinda depends what you want to do. You don't need to perfect the class immediately. If you enjoy playing it, go for it man. Don't let it stop you

Secondly, you just want the highest ilvl possible atm and the only thing to really work towards are specific trinkets and whatnot

Just do the raid on normal/heroic and work towards getting tier set that way

Then look into crafted gear with sparks

And only then look into specific trinkets/pieces from specific dungeons

Atm everyone should just aim for the highest ilvl possible and the sources for those are plenty, from delves to dungeons to the raid.

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer
