Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.

• No, haste will not make this feel noticeably better.
• 10% haste only contributes to around 2 actions per minute
• You should be playing for envenom uptime in single target

• For Fatebound, sanguine blades is typically much better than Deathstalker. For this reason, if you can't maintain Envenom uptime anymore, you should build combo points, then reset your energy back to around 70% before maintaining again.
• For Deathstalker, try to stay under 50% as much as possible while maxing out Envenom uptime. Single target builds play vicious venoms instead of sanguine blades as well.

The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and use energy more efficiently for Deathstalker marks/cooldowns. Staying under 50% leads to more envenom casts, which is more Darkest Night Procs. For Fatebound, heads flips contribute damage regardless of if you're flipping or not, so this pressure to keep spending is lessened.

Soloing Delves is really hard currently. Some solutions:

• Do them with a tank+healer in a 3 man. This seems to be lenient on scaling
• Go outlaw/subtlety with trickster, take the 1 hour tricks of the trade talent, cast tricks on brann (I personally put brann on my focus and use /cast [@focus] Tricks of the Trade)
• For objective/pickup object based delves, you can sap/aoe blind, pick up the item, then vanish. This is slow but will get the job done most of the time
• Put Netflix on your second monitor or something while you wait for your 2min cooldowns to come back up so you can pull another 3 pack of mobs, 2 of which are sapped/blinded, you’re in for a long delve

If you're playing with a rotation helper without knowing why you are pressing that button other than it just being queued then thats just NPC behavior. WeakAuras are really good way to have a list of things you have on CD and when you need to reapply Bleed/Poison. You can even make them bounce and glow on screen to let you know they are ready to be used or needs to be used.

Getting the muscle memory of the spec goes a much longer way to allow a player to free their attention on other things. Practice and a good UI are the two best ways to free up brain power

You can learn your rotation 100% AND rely on Hekili occasionally based in particular on personal ability. There's nothing inconsistent about that.

That's just a visual confusion. It doesn't do that. You get 2 stacks of a "buff" but the buff doesn't show on buff bar yet, it shows like that on your CPs.

But no those are not charged, whenever you use a finisher it will use one charge to add +2/3 CP to it (so finish at 5, result in 7/8 CP finisher)

For the last 4 years I've been using it, not blindly but using it as a guide. I have several CEs and don't parse all that badly, these were my parses (7 NM bosses + 2HC). Not saying it's the best but unless you're aiming for Hall of Fame it's quite usable

I've gotten used to it not working with reprimand. Just a regular max CP Envenom not using the DN buff and applying DS. Need to cast 2/3 Envenoms before it works. That's the one that annoyed me mid-raid.
