That's just how you do it. You don't really have to actively seek out to garrote targets, just maintain enough ruptures to have energy saturation and you're good to go. You vanish if you feel like it's necessary to reapply bleeds. We no longer really run MA actively, and even then KB nerf and removal of Nightstalker just means that it's not really worth it to vanish for KB anymore.

Use Vanish to reapply Improved Garrotes and to spread bleeds instead, it's fine.

• If it's getting uncomfortable to chain, or you have to let envenom drop, pool back up to around 80% energy, and then start another chain
• Always wait to envenom, never wait to mutilate/ambush. You want to generate your combo points as soon as possible, and then evaluate whether you should pool or use a finisher

The problem is that amp competes with crimson tempest and bone spike competes with shrouded suffocation, so if you want both you’re losing a fairly significant portion of your aoe

Gotta jump through some hoops to make that work

so those are your both close options. the hybrid is for m+ and it plays with DTB and SBS but without amp, but as mentioned before, amp isnt anything you particularly feel

so I would just roll with that

personally I like having instant + lethal more than lethal + amp. amp is just some additional damage thats there anyways and instant is a new damage instance you will actually see. a slightly higher number on envenom aside, amp doesnt do much

and instand + lethal are the iconic poisons

hey there. i'm getting into assassination for tww. i find it fairly challenging to keep track of dots on nameplates. are there recommended overlap settings that reduce the clutter? tab targeting isn't really my thing. so i depend on targeting manually.
